Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision necessary to improve boiler operations in Building 232 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Domiciliary, 8495 Crater Lake Highway, White City, Oregon, as per contract drawings and specifications for project #692-98-106. Estimated construction cost range between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS Code 235110, $7.0 Million. The work includes general construction, asbestos abatement, structural platforms, mechanical and electrical work, automatic controls for the boiler plant upgrade and certain other items. This solicitation is full and open competition with bids acceptable from any responsible bidder. Interested bidders must submit requests for documents in writing to the Contracting Officer as shown above. Bid documents available 1-4-2001. Preconstruction conference with walk-through January 18, 2001 at 10 A.M. Pacific Standard Time. Bid opening date scheduled for February 22, 2001.
