Description

The 90th Contracting Squadron at F. E. Warren AFB, WY., has a requirement to extend the Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Store (COCESS) contract for 2 months (1 January through 28 February 01). This is a sole source acquisition subject to North American Industry Classification System NAICS code 44413 with a size standard of $5 Million. The COCESS contract will furnish Civil Engineer shops with miscellaneous hardware, plumbing, heating, electrical and carpentry supplies. The store will be located at F. E. Warren AFB and it shall be operated during normal duty days observed by the Civil Engineering Squadron, 7:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The contractor shall provide a store manager who shall be responsible for the performance of work. The store manager shall have experience in procuring the types of materials required under this contract, cross referencing, and buying commercial building trade supply items. The contractor will ensure that sufficient personnel are available at all times during store hours, whether normal or emergency operation, to provide uninterrupted services. The rules and directives of F. E. Warren AFB where services are performed shall apply to the contractor and his employees while on the premises of such installation. The contractor shall be in place and open for business on the contract start date 1 January 01. The contract period will be for 58 days. The 90th Contracting office issued a solicitation (F48608-00-R0029) for a new COCESS contract on 24 November 00; contractors proposals are due to this office by 4:30pm, 11 January 01.
