Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to add contract line items on a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis, to Contract N00039-98-C-0047 awarded to Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA 01752 in March 1998. This contract procures Low Data Rate/Medium Data Rate (MDR) EHF SATCOM terminals (also known as Follow-On Terminals (FOT)). The current contract contains line items to develop, provide logistics support and procure an SHF capability for ship FOTs. This contract modification will add options to contract N00039-98-C-0047 to develop, provide logistics support and procure an SHF capability for the submarine-variant FOT to be installed on submarines. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3663. The amount of this contract modification is not expected to exceed 17.0 million dollars. See Note 22.
