Description

Acquisition of liquid helium on an indefinitey delivery basis to be delivered to Boulder, Colorado. Deliveries are to be made weekly and will be made in contractor-owned vehicles and not by common carrier. Dewar size furnished by the contractor will be 100, 200 and 500 liter capacity. The contractor shall also be required to provide for all services such as inspection, testing, evacuation, and cleaning services of the dewars. The contract will be a requirements contract for a one-year base period and two one-year options. The estimate for each year is 30,000 liters for a total estimate of 90,000 liters over three years. The contractor must be on the Bureau of Land Management's Authorized List of Federal Helium Suppliers in accordance with P.L. 104-273. Solicitation packages will be available on or about January 11, 2001.
