Description

The United States Marshals Service for the Eastern Distict of Pennsylvania located in Phila. PA. plans to award a sole source purchase order to Phila. Newspapers inc. to publish all Legal Notices that are required by Federal Court Order. Federal statute requires that Legal Notices be published in a paper of general circulation within the Federal district court area. Phila. Newspapers Ins. is the only newspaper of general circulation in the five county Phila. Metropolitan area. The estimated annual expenditure for this function is $70,000 dollars. The purchase order will be awarded for one year. It is anticipated that the award will take place on Jan. 17, 2001.
