Description

The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for research involved with free space optical communications and pattern analysis of optical images. The program will consist of: 1) Optical design and characterization of modulating retroreflector systems, 2) measurement of electro-optic properties of large area multiple quantum well modulators, and 3) shape recognition for optical oil debris analysis. The period of performance will be for one year with four-(4) one year options (each 12 months). The work will be performed on-site. The Government anticipates awarding a cost plus fix fee term contract. The total estimated level of effort is 10,400 labor hours. See Note 26. NRL uses electronic commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. This solicitation and any amendments to it will be available via the internet at the URL address shown below. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided.
