Description

THIS AMENDS THE SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION NO. SB1341-01-R-0004, PUBLISHED DECEMBER 6, 2000. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20899, has an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement utilizing procedures under the FAR PART 12 and 15. The Contractor shall provide subjects to participate in a series of data collection experiments with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Communicator Program. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be available in the solicitation package. Subsequent task orders will be issued on a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The period of performance will be one (1) year from the date of contract award, with the option to extend for two (2) additional 1-year periods. All request for a copy of the solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at the above address. This is a 100% small business set-aside (North American Industry Classification Code/NAIC is 54191). All potential small business sources are invited to submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The RFP packet will be available on or about December 22, 2000. See Note 1.
