- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center intends to procure a one year base contract with four (4) option years, for the maintenance, inspection and spare parts for the following UPS systems: four (4) Comet 80kVA power system and one (1) Comet 100kVA power system. This maintenance contract shall include, for the base year and for the option years, the following: one year of factory technical support; one year of call management assistance; one year of component upgrades, one year of replacement spare parts, one preventative maintenance inspection on each unit per year; two preventative maintenance inspections on all batteries per year; a maximum of 30 minutes for call back and a guaranteed response time of 4 hours seven days a week. The Government intends to issue a contract to Johnston Technologies. The manufacturer of this equipment has certified Johnston Technologies as the maintenance representative for our geographical area. All other offerors must be a certified MGE maintenance representatives. No RFQs or RFPs will be issued other than this notice. The following provisions and contract clauses apply to this procurement: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. All offerors interested in submitting an offer must fax their proposals to MSIC, ATTN: CPT William M. Russell 256-313-7963 not later than 28 December 2000. All offerors, other than Johnston Technologies, must submit evidence that they are certified to repair and maintain the aforementioned equipment to be considered for award.
