Description

DESC: This is a sources sought/market research conducted in accordance with part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Andrews Air Force Base is requesting information and any suggestions that will be useful in developing a commercial Performance Based Statement of Work for the Maintenance and Repair of Boiler Plant Flow Meters, Instrument Controls and Burner Management services. Industry input on standard commercial practices, commercial terms and conditions is requested. The services will include, but are not limited to, Maintenance Management, Service Calls, repair, calibration and monitoring necessary to maintain proper combustion efficiency. Both Small and Large Businesses are encouraged to furnish information and comment on the Draft Statement of Work located on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at EPS.GOV. It can be accessed under USAF, Air Mobility Command, Andrews AFB, MD. Responses and comments shall be submitted via fax, e-mail, or mail by 5 January 2001. Provide your business size, years of experience, and a point of contact with any information submitted. Information submitted will not be returned. A Presolicitation Conference will be held on 8 Jan 2001 at 9:30 A.M. in the Conference room at 1419 Menoher Drive, Andrews AFB. Parties interested in attending shall contact Robert Rubien by 4:00 eastern time on 5 Jan 2001. The resulting contract will be a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811310.
