Description

NAIC Code 561730, Size Standard -- $5 million -- Landscaping Services. Contractor is to furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide landscape maintenance services for a 630-acre business campus (the Denver Federal Center), in the foothills of Denver, Colorado. Landscape services will include year-round maintenance of landscaped areas, turf areas, open space, and field areas; irrigation maintenance and repair, and comprehensive tree maintenance. The term of performance for these services is one base year plus one one-year option plus three two-year options. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. One award will be made from this procurement that will result in the greatest overall value to the Government using evaluation factos of Experience and Past Performance, Management Controls, Western Regional Landscape Experties, and Site Visit/Pre-Proposal Conference Attendance. Site visit will be held January 24, 2001, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Building 41, Remington Arms Room, at the Denver Federal Center. A pre-proposal conference will be held the following day after the site visit beginning at 9:00 a.m. on January 25, 2001, in the same room. Initial first year period is expected to be April 1, 2001, through March 31, 2002. The solicitation will be issued on January 10, 2001, on the Internet through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at eps.gov. Contractor proposals are due February 9, 2001. Written amendments will not be issued; therefore, it is the responsibilty of the offeror to check the Internet site for any changes. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR AWARD TO SMALL BUSINESS.
