Description

Successful contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and reconstruct three interior catch basins. Work includes demolition, clearing, excavation, cast-in-place concrete, backfill, compaction, and furnishing and installing stoplog guides, metal grating and sluice gates. The project is located at the Valley City National Fish Hatchery near Valley City, North Dakota. The Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Davis-Bacon payrolls will be applicable. This project is open to both large and small businesses pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Liquidated damages of $50.00 per day will be included in the contract, and a payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit will be required in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The period of performance is 60 calendar days and is expected to be issued on or about May 15, 2001. The request for quotation (RFQ) package is expected to be available on or about January 9, 2001.
