Description

This synopsis is amended to delete Item 0002, data, 1 lot. Delete the Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The soliciation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. This qualification requirements apply to all line items. Delete "First Article test required." Delete "Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent -- -- -The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation." Add: This acquisition will use reverse auction procedures as well as Price/Performance Tradeoff procedures. This acquisition is also a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and as such, only small business sources whose offers have previously been determined technically acceptable may participate in the reverse auction. These sources are: MIW Aerospace, Cage 0YWW1, Yeager Mfg, Cage 31788, All Tools Inc, Cage 32168 and CM Mfg Inc, Cage 6Z056. Offers from any other sources WILL NOT be considered in this prototype reverse auction procedure. Add: Instructions and Agreements for the above contractors to participate in this prototype reverse auction will be contained in the solicitation when posted on the FEDBIZOPS website. Add: After the complete quantity is shipped to the destination (OO-ALC), the Government will perform a production item sampling (testing) on 13 each of the total quantity. If this test demonstrates any problems, the entire quantity will be returned to the contractor for correction/rework at NO COST to the Government.
