This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate with The Cavetown Planing Mill Co., on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase three draper roll-up gym divider curtains approximately 75'0" x 16'6", with a 8' vinyl and balance of divider with mesh. The order will also include one replacement curtain for an existing divider. The curtains will be furnished and installed. Cavetown has installed the existing gym divider and it is requested that the same exact product be installed for uniformity. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00421-01-Q-0110. The RFQ and the incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This acquisition is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is small business set-aside. The applicable SIC is 2542 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Delivery shall be quoted as FOB destination, to NAWCAD, Patuxent River, MD. Each offeror shall quote their best delivery schedule.
