Description

The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for One Hundred and Eighty (180) each AN/PVS-10 Sniper Night Sight systems which are part of the M24 Sniper Weapon System. This acquisition supports the US Army Brigade Combat Team (BCT) requirement for integrated day/night weapon sights. National Stock Number: 5855-01-410-8979. The Government does not currently possess the necessary technical drawings to enable competition for this item. Litton Electro Optical Systems (Litton-EOS) is the only source who possesses the capability and knowledge required to satisfy the Government's requirements. This is a sole source acquisition with Litton-EOS authorized under 10 USC 2304(c)(i). This notice is not to be considered a request for offer/proposal from other sources. The US Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the BOP Website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry.
