Description

This is a Market Survey to enter into a contract to purchase spare parts for the Bandwidth Efficient Modem (BEM-7650). The spare parts are as follow: 4 each Modulator Assembly Cards (P/N VLM7650M.112010); 4 each Demodulator Assembly Cards (VLM7650D.112010); 4 EACH Controller CCA cards (P/N PL/8526); 4 each Systems Interface Circuit Card Assemblies (SICCA)(P/N PL/8464); 4 each Terrestrial Interface Circuit Card Assemblies (P/N PL/8472); 4 each BEM-7650 Chassis (P/N SPL/8410-1); and, 4 each BEM-7650 Power supplies (P/N PL/8423-1). The government can only provide synopsized performance specs for contractor review. The rights to the technical data required to manufacture and test the BEM-7650 spare parts are not owned by the government. The Technical Data required for manufacturing and Testing is owned by COMTECH EFDATA, 2114 W. 7th St., Tempe, Arizona. Any Manufcturer who feels they can provide aforementioned spare parts must submit documentation demonstrating interchangeability, functionality, and compatability with the BEM-7650. This documentation shall be submitted in writing to : COMMANDER, USACECOM, ATTN:AMSEL-LC-COM-S-DI, Building 1202, Fort Monmouth, N.J. 07703-5000.
