Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Advanced Deployable Systems Program, (PMW183) intends to contract on a sole-source basis with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval Electronics Surveillance Systems, Manassas for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and test of the Advanced Deployable System. This will be awarded as an add-on to contract N00039-00-2223 which was awarded in September 00 on a cost-plus-award-fee basis to provide for the initial definition of the EMD effort. It is currently anticipated that the effort will be completed over a five year period. The acquisition of ADS production systems is not covered by this contract. Contract arrangements to conduct ADS production will be determined at a future date. The North American Industrial Classification System(NAICS) Code for this procurement is 54171. See Note 22.
