Description

17. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL-SSC) has a requirement for software and hardware engineering services. The scope of this effort encompasses the management, evaluation, procurement, system engineering, system integration, programming, maintenance, training and testing associated with all resources supported by the Marine Geosciences Division Information System Office (MGDISO). The engineering tasks to be performed require in-depth working knowledge and experience with system integration for microcomputers and mini-computers, which include office automation systems, communication equipment, operating systems, scientific software, and business management software currently maintained in the Division. The software engineering services will be provided for multiple NRL-SSC Offices, including both scientific and administrative offices. Detailed requirements will be issued with the solicitation. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 7379. This requirement is for one base year with four one-year options. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Time and Materials contract.
