Description

The USAF Academy intends to solicit proposals for a contract to provide Custodial Services for the Academic Area at the USAF Academy. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and transportation associated with custodial services for the Academic Area. Custodial service shall be provided to approximately 18 buildings and shall include approximately 1,939,853 square feet of building and ground space. Service provided shall also include maintenance of swimming pools at the Cadet Gymnasium and removal of snow from Falcon Stadium. Cleaning materials provided by the contractor shall be in compliance with OSHA and USAFA bioenvironmental standards. This service is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and all associated documents, when issued, will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.eps.gov under Federal Business Opportunities for VENDORS, USAF-OFFICES, DIRECT REPORTING UNITS-LOCATIONS, 10th ABW/LGC-POSTED DATE. This RFP, using Past Performance/Price Trade-off (PPT) of technically acceptable offerors, will constitute the only solicitation. THE ANTICIPATED DATE FOR ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION IS ON OR ABOUT 30 DECEMBER 2000. Offerors are encouraged to subscribe/register for this solicitation number, F05611-01-R-0303, through Federal Business Opportunities to ensure they will automatically receive all documents associated with the procurement in a timely manner. Resulting contract shall be a firm, fixed price requirements contract with a basic period of from month of award to 30 September 2001 and four one-year option periods. This procurement is a set-aside for 8(a) business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561720 (Standard Industrial Classification number is 7349), and the business size standard is $12 million.
