- Description
- Provide all management, supervision, certified applicators, and administrative personnel necessary to provide Pest Control and Management Services at Fort Benning, Georgia and Family Housing, Dahlonega, Georgia. Applicators shall be state certified and licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and Alabama Department of Agriculture in the following categories: structural pest, general household pest, lawn and ornamental turf, and industrial, institutional, and health related. Period of performance is one base year with three one-year option periods. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price type and contain two schedules: a firm fixed schedule and an as ordered portion. A draft solicitation containing the performance work statement, bid schedule and technical exhibits will be available at the web site listed below. Comments, suggestions, and recommendations of the draft solicitation are solicited and requested by January 15, 2001. It is anticipated that services will be acquired by Two-Step Sealed Bid procedures under the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14.501. The projected issue date for Step One is February 26, 2000. During Step One, the solicitation will include instructions for submission of technical proposals and a revised performance work statement based on public review and comments, and additional internal reviews. A bid schedule will be included in the solicitation but prices will not be provided with the technical proposals in Step One. Only those bidders who submit an acceptable technical proposal under Step One will be permitted to participate in Step Two of the process. During Step Two, the solicitation will specify a date and time by which bid prices must be received. A contract will be awarded on the basis of low prices technically acceptable (LPTA). NAICS code is 561710, previous SIC 7342. This requirement is unrestricted and all responsible bidders may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency.
