Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure on a sole source basis, Training from Tech Resources Inc, 1 Meadowbrook Drive, Milford NH 03055. This procurement is under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Tech Resources Inc (TRI) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the E-2T AN/ ALR-73 Passive Display System (PDS) Antenna Coupler Interconnecting Group (ACIG) configured for Taiwan. TRI is the original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the E-2C AN/ ALR-73 Testing Procedures for the AN/ USM-482A, which will form the foundation for the training course required by the Taiwan Air Force. TRI has produced ACIG's for testing similar applications on F/A-18 C/D, AV-8B, F-14 D and F/A-18 E/F, and therefore is the only known source with the design knowledge and technical expertise necessary to provide the comprehensive training that is required in country. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-R-0111. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available.
