Description

Functional Academic Skills Training (FAST) instruction of military personnel at Fort Benning, GA, in three basic skills divisions: reading, mathematics, and language. Requirement involves development of classroom procedures, conducting instruction, administering activities, evaluation of student progress, to include testing and submission of reports. Contractor shall be an academic institution accredited by a national or region accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and shall have as a minimum secondary school level accreditation. Instructor shall possess, as a minimum, Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, state certification, and one year's teaching experience. Test administrator shall possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree, two year's experience instructing examinees and administering tests, and test instruments in a civilian or military Program. Performance Period: 01 March 2001 28 February 2002. This is a fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract wherein services will be ordered by issuance of monthly delivery orders. Classes will be conducted via classroom sessions. Guaranteed minimum number of sessions is 86 sessions . Estimated number of sessions is 171 each, a.m. and p.m. Written requests only. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 4 Jan 01 at no cost. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the issuing office.
