Description

Anticipated Issue Date: 1/8/01. This solicitation will be for a requirements type Firm Fixed Price contract. The contractor shall lease/rent approximately 450 handheld radios to be operated on a trunked system. Each radio to have the capability of 20 talk groups. Additional line items to include approx 25 base stations, 40 cigarrette lighter adapters and mag mount antennas, and two 5-channel 800 MHZ trunked repeaters. Each repeater to have the capability of 200 talk groups. Radio programming software to be included. The rental period will be approximately 2 months during the period of March 01, 2001 through May 01, 2001. All responsible sources that are currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
