- Description
- FY01 Veterinary Treatment Facility, Fort Drum, New York. The SIC Code is 1542 and the NAICS is 233320. The estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for constructing a permanent Veterinary Treatment Facility with reinforced concrete foundation and slab with masonry bearing walls, exterior brick finish, wood truss roof structure with standing seam metal roofing, and associated support facilities. This facility will provide full medical services for military working dogs, temporary housing for installation strays and adopted animals and administrative workspaces for staff. Air conditioning: 31 Tons. This facility will be a permanent structure of 5,300 SF that will house the veterinary offices, laboratory, latrines, waiting rooms, kennels and administrative and supply areas. The project will include required utility services, communications, fire protection, alarm and security systems, and site improvements. All facilities in this project will heat by natural gas from the existing distribution system. Electric power for lighting and accessory uses will be provided from the existing distribution system. Solicitation to be issued O/A 5 Jan 2001 and bid opening O/A 6 Feb 2001 at 11:00 a.m. local time. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement utilizing the world wide web. Traditional HARD copies of plans and specifications will NOT be available for this project. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the WWW on or about 5 January 2001. 2. There is NO fee for this solicitation. 3. One hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at US Army Corp of Engineers, 26 Federal Plaza, Room 1843, New York, New York 10278. 4. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register, however, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. 5. On the SF 1442 of the solicitation, you will be provided the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to Show the bidders' name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time bids are due. 7. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment is excluded from receiving contracts. 8. Contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award.
