Description

Construct a new two lane primary roadway, connecting Stony Lonesome Road from Delafield Road Intersection through the North side of Michie Stadium to Mills Road. The road is approximately seven hundred feet in length and as a maximum has a 12 percent grade. Work includes; site clearing, rock removal, installation of storm sewer, sidewalks and stairways, intersection upgrades, and various site improvements. In addition, due to the blasting that will be required for rock removal, there will also be a need to monitor, protect, and mitigate any damages to the Historic Fort Putnam Site, Lusk Reservoir Dam site and the Michie Stadium structure which are adjacent to the construction site. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Completion time is 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS CODE for this project is 234110. Size Standard for this project is 27.5 million. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 15 February 2001. Bid opening date will be 15 March 2001 at 2:00 P.M. or 30 calendar days following solicitation available date. Bid opening will be held in room 1841. Solicitation documents will be available on CD ROM. There will be no charge for the first CD ROM requested. Any additional CD ROMS will be $5.00 each.
