Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1542. Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, HUBZone and Small Disadvantaged Businesses are encouraged to participate. Work consists of furnishing all necessary plant, labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment to perform four kitchen remodel construction projects, and provide a mobile field kitchen. The work will be prosecuted within limited access, military secured, US Air Force Missile Alert Facilities (MAF). The MAFs_ are located within remote areas of Wyoming and Nebraska. Work includes but is not limited to: interior demolition of selected areas relating to a 15_ X 18_ kitchen in an existing 4,302 SF wood frame structure. Remodeling of these approximate 270 SF kitchens includes but is not limited to: providing, setting-up and maintaining a mobile field kitchen, wood framing, roof appurtenances, interior partitions and ceilings of gyp-board on wood studs, windows, metal casework, ventilation hood, fire suppression system, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and finish work. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 23 Jan 01 with a closing date of 30 days after issuance. This solicitation is a Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT/past performance will be evaluated.
