Description

The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for existing buildings or a facility to be constructed in North Chatham, NY 12132. The site size desired is 44,800 square feet of land, excluding setbacks, easements, drainage and water retention, septic requirements and any other unusual conditions affecting development and use. Space requirements for approximately 1,666 square feet of net interior space; 335 square feet of platform space; and 13,937 square feet of driveway, parking and maneuvering area. All sites within the preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the following boundaries will receive priority consideration: North by the intersection of NYS Rt. 203 & CR 32; south by the intersection of NYS 203 & CR 17; west by Depot St; east by Smith Rd. The lease term is a basic twenty (20) year lease with four (4) five-year renewal options. Proposals will be received through January 26, 2001.
