Description

The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of services needed for the alterations and modifications of various laboratories within Building 4600, APG, MD. These services include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, equipment removal, relocation and installation, and mechanical tasks. A complete listing will be included in the RFQ. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Interested companies must meet all ISO 9002 service standards, must have clean room experience, must hold individual security clearances for primary personnel and potention subcontractors, and must be certified in moving hazardous materials. Due to the urgent requirement all work must be completed six (6) weeks from date of award. A site visit will be coordinated with interested companies upon closure of this notice. Interested companies have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing via FAX 410-278-6522 to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. The Government will award on the basis determined most advantageous to the Government, delivery, price, and/or other factors determined to be in the best interest of the Government.
