Description

DESC: NSN 1005-01-251-9687, Part Number 12597039. Offerors are herby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a nondisclosure agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The nondisclosure agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the nondisclosure agreement, return by mail (TACOM-RI, AMSTA-LC-CSC-A/Kathy Conklin, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630) or datafax to (309) 782-3813, Attn: Kathy Conklin. Upon receipt of the signed nondisclosure agreement, a technical data package will be mailed to the offeror. The item to procure is a Protector Front Sight, Machine Gun 7.62, M240 manufactured part made from investment casting, machined to finish print dimensions. Requirements are quantity of 700, with 100% evaluated option, Protector, Front Sight. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240 Machine Gun. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Estimated issue date is 04 Jan 2001. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
