Description

The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, has a requirement for welding electrode. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued as 01SQ170489. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. This requirement is 100% set-aside for HUBZone small businesses and the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 421840. The small business size standard is 500 employees. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee, Washington has a fixed price requirement for the following items: CLIN 0001 -- WELDING ELECTRODE, 1/8 inch x 14 inch, stainless steel, corrosion resistant, type 309L-16, ac-dc coating, vacuum sealed in 10 pound packages, Blue Max, Red Baron or equal -- 115 packages. MSDS approval required prior to order. CLIN 0002 -- WELDING ELECTRODE, 5/32 inch x 14 inch, stainless steel, corrosion resistant seal, type 309L6, ac-dc coating, vacuum sealed in 10 pound packages, Blue Max, Red Baron or equal -- 590 packages. MSDS approval required prior to order. These items must be delivered to U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Warehouse B, Door 6, Industrial Area, Grand Coulee, Washington, 99133 no later than February 14, 2001.
