Description

Background "Provide, install and test a high density storage system for the Flight Line Parts Store at McChord AFB WA. The system includes a mezzanine and pallet gravity roller conveyor. The project also includes training of government personnel on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, DRAWINGS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer.
