Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation request for quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This procurement in unstricted. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX proposes to award a sole source folow-on contract with 1 base year and two one year options for renewal to Compaq Computer Corporation for Information Technology Support. Compaq is to provide remote LAN NETsupport with a 24 x 7 call management, remote fault isolation, resolution management & vendor management, area Network Consultant providing quarterly onsite review meetings, updates to network mgmt. Platforms and the Network Maintenance Plan. One network management platform: Compaq PC running MS NT, HP openview and ClearVISN, HP openview unlimited license. Ciscoworks-CWSI Campus Bundle with Resource Manager for NT, 80 hours annual of network consulting to provide the following services: Implementation and integration of CISCOWORKS with HP Openview, Site Audit to include; network logical drawings in VISIO format, drawings to be updated no more than 4 times per year. Service level Lan Support for up to 100 network SNMP manageable enterprize devices. This procurement is being conducted under the federal acquisition regulation subpart 13.5 test program, using simplified acquisition procedures.All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Respresentations and Certifications-Commerical Items with offer.
