Description

Contract No. GS00T99NSD0003 with AT&T Communications, Inc. (Network A) for the extension to the Federal Telecommunications System 2000 (FTS2000) expired at midnight on December 6, 2000. This notice is to advise that the GSA issued a negotiated modification, on a sole-source basis, to extend the performance of services for an additional 12-month period. The modification is authorized under FAR Part 6.302-2, "unusual and compelling urgency". The current contract expired on 12/6/2000 and the agency could not perform its mission without full performance from the incumbent contract during this final stage of transition. The contract will now expire on December 6, 2001. *****
