Description

Provide medical transcription services in accordance with JCAHO documentation process. Dictation shall be performed through the use of the Contractor's telephone dictation line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Multiple users shall have access to the dictation lines concurrently. Completed transcriptions shall be delivered, encrypted, via electronic mail (computer) to the Sells Hopsital, Sells, Arizona. All transmissions shall be received within 24-hour turn around time. Electronic transfers to the Sells Hospital shall be performed by using a File Transfer Protocal (FTP) in MS Word 6.0 version or higher format that is Y2K compliant. Transcriptions shall be prepared in Courier or mutually agreed upon font with a minimum of character space line of 66. Upgrades necessary to word processing software must be pre-approved by the Government and compatible prior to installation and use. Mini-cassettes may be used in substitution in case of any down time of computers or telephones. A daily log shall be maintained and on any given day trasmittted to IHS on all dictations received during the day up to midnight. Period of Performance will be one year from the date of award plus four one-year option periods. The proposed procurement is set-aside for Buy Indian concerns, offers from other than Buy Indian concerns will not be considered. The proposed procurement is restricted to certified Indian owned business enterprises under the authority of FAR 6.202(a)(1) and (4). All requests for the Request for Quote package must contain documentation that the organization is a "Buy Indian" corporate, as required by the act.
