Description
The U. S. Department of Energy, Albuquerque Operations Office (AL), intends to issue multiple award ID-IQ contracts for licensed, state-certified court reporters who can provide error-free transcriptions of court proceedings. Services shall be performed in Albuquerque, Carlsbad, and Los Alamos, New Mexico; Amarillo, TX; Dayton, OH; Grand Junction, CO; and other destinations, usually on short notice. The term of the contracts will be for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. This is a performance-based requirement, with RFP anticipated to be released on or about December 27, 2000. Each contract will be firm-fixed price/cost-reimbursable set aside for Small Business under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 7338 with a not-to-exceed size standard of $5 million; North American Industry Classification System Code is 561492. Cost proposals will be required from all Offerors, with demonstrated ability to satisfy the requirements of the Statement of Work. Each Offeror must be prepared to undergo a background investigation in preparation for a security clearance. Only written responses/proposals to the solicitation shall be accepted and must be received by 3:00 p.m. local time, January 29, 2001. Mail or fax request to the attention of Patsy J.
