Description

The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and managment to provide a collection point, pro permitted sanitary landfill to receive refuse delivered by the Government which will include non-hazardous putrecibile and non-putrecible solid waste such as garbage debris, rubbish, minor construction refuse, condemned food and medical supplies. Condemned food and medical supples shall be delivered separately. The NAICS is 562212 and the size standard is $6M. The landfill site must be within a 40 mile radius of the Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, Virgina. Sanifill of Virginia, Inc., 100 North Park Lane, Hampton, Virginia 23666 is the only know source that can meet this requirement. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all proposals received with 30 days after the issuance of a Request for Proposal, will be considered by the Government.
