Description

The USAF Academy intends to solicit proposals for a contract to provide Make Ready Cleaning Services for Military Family Housing (MFH) Units at the USAF Academy. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and transportation associated with make ready cleaning of Military Family Housing units after all maintenance work has been completed. Cleaning materials provided by the contractor shall be in compliance with OSHA and USAFA bioenvironmental standards. This service is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and all associated documents, when issued, will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.eps.gov under EPS FOR VENDORS, USAF-OFFICES, DIRECT REPORTING UNITS-LOCATIONS, 10th ABW/LGC-POSTED DATE. This RFP, using Past Performance/Price Trade-Off, will constitute the only solicitation. THE ANTICIPATED DATE FOR ISSUANCE IS ON OR ABOUT 27 DECEMBER 2000. Offerors are encouraged to subscribe/register for this solicitation number, F05611-01-R-0300, through EPS to ensure they will automatically received all documents associated with the procurement in a timely manner. Resulting contract shall be a firm, fixed price requirements contract with a basic period of from month of award to 30 September 2001 and four one-year option periods. This procurement is a set-aside for small business. Small disadvantaged and small women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit offers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561720 (Standard Industrial Classification number is 7349), and the business size standard is $12 million.
