The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for constructing a permanent Veterinary Treatment Facility with reinforced concrete foundation and slab with masonry bearing walls, exterior brick finish, wood truss roof structure with standing seam metal roofing, and associated support facilities. This facility will provide full medical services for military working dogs, temporary housing for installation strays and adopted animals and administrative workspaces for staff. Air conditioning: 31 Tons. This facility will be a permanent structure of 5,300 SF that will house the veterinary offices, laboratory, latrines, waiting rooms, kennels and administrative and supply areas. The project will include required utility services, communications, fire protection, alarm and security systems, and site improvements. All facilities in this project will heat by natural gas from the existing distribution system. Electric power for lighting and accessory uses will be provided from the existing distribution system.
