Description

The U.S Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Avionic Instruments Incorporated of Avenel, New Jersey, to procure four 60Hz frequency converters to support the P-3 AEW #1-4 aircraft retrofit/upgrade program. This equipment will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and will be integrated with the existing aircraft power systems to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to provide technical data, manuals and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds.
