Description

The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, Gov.Works intends to procure one (1) each Acoustic System cabaple of delivering 150 dB SPL levels at the required bandwidths with additional power over wider bandwidths for future requirements, for Redstone Technical Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The specification list is as follows: 4 ea, Eastern Acoustic PN KF910P -- High Powered Speaker; 2 ea, Eastern Acoustic PN KF920P -- High Powered Speaker; 1 ea, Eastern Acoustic PN 8750 -- Digital Processor; 5 ea, Crown PN MA-3600VZ -- Power Amplifier; 2 ea, MA-5002VZ -- Power Amplifier; 7 ea Crown PN IQ-PIP-SMT -- PIP Module; 1 ea, Crown PN IQ2 Interface -- PC Interface to PIP modules. All cab les required to drive speakers with amplifiers with a 100' length. A bandwidth graph can be obtained from the Contracting Officer by return fax. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, and/or woman-owned business. NAICS Code is 334613 with size standard of 1,000 employees. Contractors wishing to do business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) for any awards resulting from solicitations. Contractors may register in the CCR through the WWW at www.ccr2000.com or 1-888-227-2423. Vendors responding to this RFQ will submit their DUNS and TIN numbers with their quotation. This is a commercial item acquisition and FAR Clauses 52.212-1, -3, -4, and -5 are applicable. Quotations must be received by 29 December 2000 to be considered. No solicitation documents exists for this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice.
