Description

Sources Sought -- The Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition Center and the Intelligence & Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) are seeking sources for advanced technologies that may have a direct application to Combat Identification for the reduction of fratricide and increase of combat effectiveness. The proposed approaches must be resistant to spoofing, jamming, and interception. The candidate technologies should be applicable to the following categories: ground-to-ground, ground-to-air, air-to-ground military platforms and vehicle to dismounted soldier and dismounted soldier to vehicle. Combat Identification technique(s) proposed may apply to any one or any combination of the separate categories. This is a market survey requesting information. Multiple solicitations may be issued against this notice to innovative promising technologies. This survey is also issued IAW the requirements of FAR Part 10 to determine the applicability of FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items."
