Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) number 01SQ6A0012. All quoters to reference this RFQ # and shall be submitted by 4pm, local time on 01-09-01. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted, the standard industrial classification code is 3613. The small business size standard is 750 employees.Line Item (1) Furnish switch according to the specifications . Line Item (2) Installation of switch. The items quoted will be awarded on an "all or none" basis. Please fax request for specification sheet to Gloria Womack at Fax 307-261-5691.Limited drawings are available and upon request will be sent to perspective quoters by calling Rohm Whittaker at 307-261-5644. Site visits are very highly recommended and maybe accomplished by calling Rohm Whittaker during normal working hours at 307-261-5644. All quotes will be considered under the best value process based on the following factors: 1- The contractor's ability to deliver and install the equipment by February 28, 2001, however early delivery date will be considered; please provide a detailed delivery and installation schedule indicating your procedure for meeting the required dates. 2. Switch design and other pertinent data must be submitted with the quote for evaluation. Other pertinent data includes the processes or information regarding accessory items that will be used to complete this job. 3. The contractor's past experience with installation of high voltage switchgear. 4. Warranty considerations. 5. Price. The deciding factor will be the contractor's ability to deliver and install a quality switch in the required time.Quoters will be required to adhere to the "Reclamation Safety & Health Standards".Place of acceptance is Bureau of Reclamation, 205 Chamberlain Rd, Mills WY 82644. FOB Destination. The following Far provisions apply: Far 52.212-1, Instr. to Offerors Comm Items, Far 52.212-3, Offeror reps and Certs -- Comm Items, Far 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms & Conditions -- Comm Items; and Far 52.212-5 -- Contr Terms & Conditions Req to Implement Stat or Ex Orders -- Comm items.
