Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-R-0030 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Navy requires 1 each DC Arc High Resolution Spectrograph and Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma Spectrograph, TJA Solutions Brand Name Only. Trade-in allowances for existing Government-owned TJA Polyscan 5E and Jarrel Ash DC are encouraged. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 Iris Advantage ICAP; shall include Catalog Numbers 14314800, 14328800, 14028500, 14377900 and Training class for second operator. CLIN 0002 ATOMCOMP 2000 DC; shall include Catalog Numbers 14378600, 13636201, 14028500, 14377900 and Training class for second operator. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47622 on 14 December 2001. Early deliveries are not acceptable. Final inspection will be at Destination. Selection for award will be based upon award to responsible contractor offering the exact Brand Name items specified at the lowest delivered price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
