Description

17. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for engineering, computer and scientific Research and Development in support of the Space Science Division. This effort encompasses management, evaluation, procurement, system engineering, system integration, programming, maintenance, training and testing associated with all resources supported by the Space Science Division Information System Office (SSDISO). The engineering tasks to be performed require in-depth working knowledge and experience with system integration for microcomputers and mini-computers, which include office automation systems, communication equipment, operating systems, scientific software, and business management software currently maintained in the Division. The engineering services will be provided for multiple NRL Offices, including both scientific and administrative offices. Detailed requirements will be issued with the solicitation. This requirement is for one base year with four one-year options. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 541710. A Cost Plus Fixed-Fee Level-of-Effort type contract is contemplated.
