Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is announcing a Commercial Item Procurement. This Commercial Item Procurement is for WebGain Studio 4 Software. Specifically, proposals are requested for a limited competition among the Manufacturer's Authorized Small Business Resellers within the United States. The requirements contained herein have been designated as a small business concern and will utilize the North American Industry Classification System Code 421430. The USPTO will issue the award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and will award to the Best Value among competitive proposals. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-20, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. A proposal shall be delivered to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Chris Mikula, no later than 2:00PM (EST) on December 28, 2000.
