- Description
- USAID/India in New Delhi, seeks proposals from qualified firms/organizations for Proposal (RFP) No. 386-01-002 the Financial Institutions Reform and Expansion (FIRE) Project. The contractor shall provide technical assistance and training to the Securities and ExH /change Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai; the key self-regulatory organizations (SROs) such as major stock exchanges, depositories, clearing corporations; and critical trade associations in to (a) promote fair, efficient and transparent markets; (b) further reduce systemic risks; and (c) bolster investor confidence through improved investor protection, investor education, and disclosure practices. The period of contract will be 40 months. The type of contract will be stated in the RFP. The RFP will be issued o/a January 12, 2001. The deadline for receipt of proposals at RCO/USAID/NEW DELHI, India is Tuesday, February 20, 2001, 1600 hrs, New Delhi time. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or other electronic means. If you require a copy in paper form, you must specifically request it, but you will not receive both a copy in paper form and an electronic version. The RFP, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency web site at: http://www.Husaid.gov/procurement_bus_opp/procurement/. Receipt of this RFP through Internet must be confirmed by written notification to the contact persons noted above. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation document to ensure that it has been received from the Internet in its entirety and USAID bears no responsibility for data errors resulting from transmission or conversion processes. Firms/organizations who have no access to Internet may obtain copies of the RFP via pouch or courier or pickup as follows. Via Pouch: Pouched to the U.S. for mailing through the U.S. Postal Service via 3rd or 4th class mail. This could take 2-4 weeks.(See requesting instructions in c) below. Via Courier: Any interested firms may arrange with its courier to collect the documents on its behalf and on its account. All AWB's shall be duly completed as USAID will only provide the solicitation package and will not handle any paperwork related to such a shipment. FEDEX, DHL, UPS are among couriersc companies operating in India.
