Description

The Department of Commerce, NOAA is seeking sources to perform upper air weather observation services at Morris Island, Chatham, Massachusetts. Services include disseminating and recording radiosonde observations; two daily soundings and six special soundings during the contract year. Services also include preventative maintenance of equipment and administrative duties. The proposed contract period will include a six-month basic period commencing on or about April 1, 2001 plus three one-year priced option periods. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561990. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing. No telephonic or electronic requests will be accepted. Requests faxed to (757) 441-3786 are acceptable. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency.
