Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to issue an unrestrictive solicitation on or about 29 January 2001for operations, scheduling, engineering and aircrew services in support of the following aircraft and their associated systems: P-3, (P-3A, P-3B, UP-3A, NP-3D, P-3C and its variants, EP-3E and EP-3J), S-3, A-37, T-2, T-3, T-6, T-34, T-37, T-39,T-44, E-2, E-6, HU-25, EC/KC/C-130, C-2, C-9, C-20, C-26, C-35, C-40, C-135, UC-12, B-707 and Naval Airships. Services are required for a base period of one year plus four one year options commencing 01 July 2001. Part of the performance required is to be on-site at Patuxent River, Maryland. It is anticipated that an award will be made for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract, with provisions for time and material orders. The appropriate SIC code is 54133. Award will be based on a best value analysis. The level of effort for the key categories is estimated at 74,900 hours per period of performance. Key labor categories include pilots, flight test engineers, and senior engineering technicians. To be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, the contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
