Description

The Department of Energy (DOE) invites proposals for research to support nuclear explosion monitoring under the Research Opportunity Announcement DOE/AL ROA01-01. The administering DOE program is the ground-based Nuclear Explosion Monitoring (NEM) Research and Engineering (R&E) Program, under DOE's Office of Non-Proliferation Research and Engineering (NN-20). There is a parallel announcement, DTRA01-PRDA-01-01, addressing similar topical areas by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) through its Basic Research Program in the Arms Control Technology Division, Technology Development Directorate. Proposals can be made to either one or both of these announcements.
