Description
Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group One intends to issue a Sole Source Purchase Order to: Real World Rescue, for instruction on Full-Time Intensive Arabic Conversational Course. Cosisting of tactal lanauge training for mission specfic operations and deployable units. Is set aside for small business. All, responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be used. Closing Date: 08 January 2001, Time: 0800 Pacific Time. The Government intends to purchase the following under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures: 1 GP, Course; Standard Arabic Technical Transcription Script (SATTS): provide number of drills, phonetic alphabets, introduction to Military Ranks, table of organization and equipment, missions, Ground Forces Vocabulary: navigation/GPS/signaling, tactical radio operations, weapons and components, infantry operations, ground force operations combined arms, artillery and heavy weapons fire support, logistics, Naval Vocabulary: vessal types,harbors and movement, small craft tactics and weapons, small boat commands and actions, scuba/swimmer, Air Units and Air Defense: aircraft/ helicopter types, insertion/extraction, airborne fire suppression and support, air defense weapons systems, parachuting, Intelligence/Surveillance Vocabulary: intelligence coordination, surveillance/ counter-surveillance, Islam and Mujahideen Orientation: Mosque/Prayers, fundamentalist ideology/combat history, Terrism Planning and Weapons of Mass Destruction: terrist operations, commands/demands, Weapons of mass destruction precursors.Terrain Targets and Target Designation, Issuing Operations Orders/Warring Orders: developing operations orders, issuing warring orders, Mission Planning/Small Unit Commands: navigation/waypoints, contact/immediate action commands, Range/Close Quarters Combat/Explosives-Demolition: range commands, hand to hand defense, CQC commands/vocalization, demolitions and explosives assembly/usage, Students to perform operation exercise at end of course. SWATT Interrogation Module: pecialized vocabulary/phaseology, methods of interrogation, common military questions, determining unit subordination, determining opposition forces intentions, SALUTE interrogation, Interrogation Simulation for students.
