Description
This is a market research to locate sources that can perform training services on effective writing and speaking for the Logistic Group, McGuire AFB, NJ. The main purpose of this survey is to look for specialized and experienced individuals/contractors who have knowledge of various formats and styles of military writing. Knowledge of different military writing styles is highly recommended. Individuals having experience in instructing professional military education courses are encouraged to respond to this request. Individuals should be familiar with, "The Tongue and Quill", Air Force Handbook 33-337, June 30, 1997 edition. No solicitation document exists at this time for this request. The government will not pay any effort expended in responding to this "Sources Sought Announcement" and does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification. Neither would the government pay for any information received in response to this request. Responses to this notice must be submitted not later than 10 January 2001 to the 305th Contracting Squadron, 2402 Vandenberg Avenue, McGuire AFB, NJ 08641. Interested parties are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Announcement by providing the following information: (a) A minimum of two different positions held with the government and within the past three years (Maximum of four years), (b) Include the cost to cover all training materials, equipment and labor for about 20 to 30 people per training class(es)to be held during normal operating hours of 0730 to 1630 hours, Monday through Friday, (c) Technical and Personnel Qualifications and (d) Resumes of all if any, training team members. All data submitted for this market research request will receive additional informations concerning any resultant solicitation. At this time, we do not know if this potential future service will be based on full time or part time hours. The frequency of the military writing training classes, number of individuals in each class and the venue for the classes (to be held on McGuire AFB) are undecided at this time.
